This web-based database was established to monitor and advertise, on an ongoing basis, the status information of PIPRA member institutions' agricultural biotechnology intellectual properties. The PIPRA Agricultural IP Database allows member institutions to effectively contract out some of their technology through increasing exposure of their availability. Furthermore, this database can provide a rich searchable source of information about patent accessibility to all organizations seeking freedom to operate in agricultural biotechnology.
